Our Solemnization at Raffles Country Club

Our Solemnization photos. All shots taken by ZonZon Photography
Some shots from our Solemnization at Raffles Country Club.
Love the view there, solemnization by a lake in Singapore. How often do you get that?

Again only selected shots were posted. If you need to refer to more shots for the location or to take a look at the photography, do drop me a note, i'll send you my facebook page. =)

me loving candid shots and most importantly, the photographer knows how to capture flattering shots.
Especially if you're fleshy like me and have a round face, a wrong angled shot can really ruin you!!

close up on the wedding pillow and rings.

the mini march in for solemnization

Our solemnization with the lake as back drop. How beautiful the scenery is.

more candid shots...

Our Solemnizer - Mr. Simon See. He runs courses and talks on marriage too.

very flattering shots on the ring exchange. i never knew my fat fingers can look so nice here..haha..

when you have a beautiful natural backdrop and a good photographer, everything seems so perfect

signing on the dotted lines with our ostrich feather pens

that's how all other shots with relatives and friends look like, against the beautiful, serene lake as backdrop

This is why having a beautiful venue for your solemnization is important, you get to take more shots and something different from your pre-wedding! it's like additional shots for your pre-wedding album
those who've tried taking photos of babies and kids will know. It's extremely challenging to capture a nice shot of them.
But i'm so lucky that ZonZon managed to capture such a perfect, tender moment!!

another perfect moment captured. The sun is setting. ain't it beautiful?

Kid-Friendly Accommodation with slides in Tainan and Kaohsiung

Taiwan is such a kid's friendly place and one of the top travel destinations Singaporeans. Easy communication, a fantastic array of food with its bustling night markets, lots of kid-friendly attractions and the only country I know of with an amazing number of kids friendly accommodation !  By this definition, I'm referring to accommodations with slides, ball pit and lots of play feature for kids.  Totally the very reasons why we love Taiwan so much, we visited Taiwan in May 2017, did an Okinawa-Taiwan trip in March 2018 and this time around, we intended to fly directly to Kaohsiung in November 2018. Our previous trips to Taiwan has been saturated at just the North Taiwan and near the outskirts of Taipei, as we already have intentions to fly directly to Kaohsiung, South Taiwan should we want to visit the southern part of Taiwan. And so that got me started with another Kid-friendly accommodation with slides in both Kaohsiung and Tainan. I was astounded by ...

Taiwan Kids friendly Accommodation with slides - not your usual list!

And so from a mere idea of bringing Sticky Bean with us to Taiwan, this idea was put into action with Singapore Airlines 70th Anniversary promotion where you get to pay only $70 for a child's ticket! Though it's not exactly the cheapest option for flying to Taiwan, we thought to pay a little more for better service and not to mention safety since it will be Sticky Bean's first time traveling on a relatively longer flight. Her first plane ride was a really short one to KL, a mere 1 hour away. If she's manageable on the flight, we can then consider budget airlines such as Scoot or even Jetstar for our subsequent travels. So why Taiwan? There are plenty of reasons for our choice other than both Mr. Keir and myself love Taiwan for the food and hospitality. I'm sure you may have come across Awesome kids friendly accommodation with slides and other themed rooms in Taiwan that are trending in facebook. That was one of the many reasons why we want to go Taiwan too! ...

8 Day 7 Night Okinawa Self-drive Trip with Kids Itinerary Preview via Taiwan

Travel period : 13 March to 20 March 2018 Fligh t: Singapore Airlines to Taiwan, Peach Airlines to Okinawa Hotel: Okinawa Grand Mer Resort (Okinawa), Marine Piazza Hotel (Okinawa), Yomi Hotel (Taiwan) Here's a preview of our 8 Day 7 Night Okinawa  ( Self-drive)  - Taiwan Trip with kids itinerary .  I'll be creating an individual post for each day and include the link soon so that you can read up in detail.  Some time ago, we've booked our air tickets to Taiwan during Singapore Airlines Promotion. Yes, we love Taiwan that much. But this time around, a friend from Taiwan suggested that we can pop by Okinawa too since it's a mere 1 hour plus flight away from Taiwan and the air tickets are pretty reasonable too. So we took Singapore Airlines to Taiwan - Taoyuan airport and took Peach Airlines, a Japanese low-cost carrier (budget) airline to Okinawa. With all the checked-in baggage, we paid about SGD$200+ per pax for Peach Airlines.  ...
