Objective of this blog...

Sometimes I confuses myself with the objective of this blog, there're just so many more informative wedding blogs out there I guess my contribution won't make much of any difference, hence this blog will be used more for myself (or us) to record the whole journey from being a Miss to a Mrs. :)

I'll try my best to record the progress as often as I can during this period as I'm sure it will be so sweet when we look back at this blog and reminisce this journey together at a later stage of our life.

Also to my friends who will eventually be a BTB in the near future, I hope more or less this blog can give them a general idea of the whole prep and all.

I do think recording litle entries here and there will aid us in marking the progress as well as refresh our memory a little especially on the sites visited.

So I may not include as much information as any BTB may need, but if any of you require a detailed breakdown or costings etc, please drop me a message or email ya...

Taiwan Kids friendly Accommodation with slides - not your usual list!

And so from a mere idea of bringing Sticky Bean with us to Taiwan, this idea was put into action with Singapore Airlines 70th Anniversary promotion where you get to pay only $70 for a child's ticket! Though it's not exactly the cheapest option for flying to Taiwan, we thought to pay a little more for better service and not to mention safety since it will be Sticky Bean's first time traveling on a relatively longer flight. Her first plane ride was a really short one to KL, a mere 1 hour away. If she's manageable on the flight, we can then consider budget airlines such as Scoot or even Jetstar for our subsequent travels. So why Taiwan? There are plenty of reasons for our choice other than both Mr. Keir and myself love Taiwan for the food and hospitality. Okinawa Grand Mer Resort Review

The value added service - FREE airport shuttle - Car rental service - Japanese Style tatami rooms I'm a research addict by nature so you can imagine the amount of research I will do for each of our trips. So after much consideration, we've decided to stay 2 nights in the 'central' Okinawa and 2 nights up North. Initially, the idea was to stay 1 night at NAHA near the airport due to our late arrival but we really dislike the idea of having to change hotel too frequently. Imagine my excitement when finding out that Okinawa Grand Mer, 1 of our hotels of choice in 'central' Okinawa provides FREE airport shuttle pick up ! So the 1st part of the challenge was solved, there's FREE transportation to the accommodation which is situated some 40 - 1 hour away from NAHA city where the airport is located at. Tips for planning an Okinawa Self Drive Trip with Kids

And so, it was a dream come true for me, we finally embarked on our journey to Okinawa via Taiwan. We did an 8 day 7 night Okinawa (Self-drive) via Taiwan Child-Friendly Trip . We stayed 4 nights in Okinawa and 3 nights in Taiwan though I'd love to spend 5 nights in Okinawa instead, the return flight tickets on the 6th day was so much more expensive hence gotta drop that idea.
